The passing of time and the changes we see are expressed in this collection which explores the subtle transitions and vibrant moods of nature expressed in botanical studies and a play with colour to create atmosphere. These works express my gardener’s love of flowers, the hope of spring bulbs and exuberance of summer colour. The crispness of autumn leaves, the glow of ripe fruit and warmth of sun on fallen apples on the orchard floor, culminating in the frosty drama of birds and deer and the celebratory aspects of winter.
